Auction to be held on the 65 acre farm on Highway 165 – From US 68 turn on to Highway 165. Farm will be on the left.
Agents will be on site on Sunday, March 5 from 2 to 5 p.m. for inspections.
Farm 1: 165 acres, more or less, with frontage on Blue Lick Spur Road. Rolling pasture farm improved with a three bent tobacco barn and cattle working pens. Farm is in good grass, includes a nice wooded area for wildlife, and has a fenced ridge for crop production. Overall good fencing, with new fencing along the roadway that brings livestock to the working pens. A small creek runs across the front of the property, with one small pond providing an additional water source for the farm. County water is available along Blue Lick Spur Road.
Farm 2: 65 acres, more or less, with frontage on Highway 165. The farm has automatic waterers, and a creek that runs across the front of the property. The farm is in grass, with rolling pastures, scattered woods for wildlife, and fenced ridges for crop production. A small stock barn is included with the property.
Terms: The farms will be offered separately and as a whole, selling in the manner that brings the highest return for the seller. All mineral rights are to remain with each farm. 10% of the total purchase price shall be paid down on the day of the auction, with the balance due on or before May 11, 2017. A 6% Buyer’s Premium will be added to determine the total purchase price for the property.
